Certification Requirements

HEAD COACHES - U7 AND U9 REQUIREMENTS:

• Respect in Sport (RIS)
• Activity Leader
• Gender Identity and Expression Course
• Coach 1 – Intro Coach

HEAD COACHES - U11 HOUSE LEAGUE LEVEL AND ABOVE REQUIREMENTS:

• Respect in Sport (RIS)
• Activity Leader
• Gender Identity and Expression Course
• Coach 2 Trained Status. This consists of parts: Part 1 – HU – Online Coach 1 / 2 and a 1-day Coach 2 in-class session.

The HU – Online component must be completed before a coach can register for the in-class Coach 2 Session.

ASSISTANT COACHES - HOUSE LEAGUE REQUIREMENTS:

• Respect in Sport (RIS)
• Activity Leader
• Gender Identity and Expression Course

If the Head Coach were unavailable to start a House League game, an appropriately qualified NCCP Coach would be required to act as the Head Coach.

TRAINER REQUIREMENTS:

• Respect in Sport (RIS)
• Activity Leader
• Gender Identity and Expression Course
• HTCP Trainer Level 1

The HTCP Trainer Level 1 program is the introductory level of the program, which introduces the participant to the principles of injury and risk management.
The HTCP second level of certification recognizes a minimum credential of Standard or Advanced First Aid with CPR Level C.
